The China Helicopter Exposition is a biennial exhibition which is celebrated as the only one of its kind for the helicopter industry in the Asian region.

The is the unique show dedicated to the domestic rotor aircraft industry. It is the brainchild of AVIC (the Aviation Industry Corporation of China) and is fully backed by central government.

The AVIC helicopter division, AVICOPTER, has invested over $800 billion in a research center and helicopter production facility in Tianjin. When completed, the factory will manufacture 30 thirty ton aircraft, 40 ten ton aircraft and 170 light aircraft a year. This is a revolutionary development for a country of 1.4 billion people that currently has only 200 civil rotor aircraft at its disposal.

Within 4 days in Tianjin, a high level international selection of companies interested in the helicopter industry is on site.

International prime contractors, systems manufacturers and actors in the Helicopter industry will be there.
